The two main wellness products that we provide to our patients in the Barrie, ON area include compression stockings and custom orthotics.
At Innisfil Wellness Centre, we want to give you the support and options your body needs to heal itself while helping you achieve greater wellbeing. Although we offer a number of treatment modalities directly at our wellness centre, we also provide several wellness products that can help you continue the healing process at home in Barrie, Ontario.
The two main products we have to offer are compression stockings and custom orthotics. Compression stockings are designed to help you increase the amount of circulation in your legs by gently squeezing your legs to ensure enough blood is travelling from your lower extremities to the upper half of your body. We may suggest wearing compression stockings if you have problems with your legs swelling, you regularly experience a heavy feeling in your legs, or you recently underwent surgery.
Comparatively, custom orthotics are designed to correct biomechanical issues with your feet and legs. Before we create a pair of customer orthotics for you, one of our trained therapists will examine your feet using a specialized computer and scan plate. After reading the results from this process, they will prescribe an orthotic or corrective shoe that best suits your needs.
If you would like to find out more about any of the wellness products we have to offer at Innisfil Wellness Centre, please feel free to contact us. We are always more than happy to answer your questions so you can make informed decisions about your personal health.
